Your initial 45-minute appointment involves an assessment and treatment. We assess your pain and symptoms to determine the cause of these symptoms, then recommend a treatment plan for you and begin this treatment. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Your physiotherapist will advise how many appointments you will need but you can stop treatment at any time.

Physiotherapists, Helen and Sarah, based at Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Fitness & Wellbeing Gym provide comprehensive assessments and treatments for people of all ages, to help manage pain, prevent disease and optimize function.

Our dedicated physio's will look at your medical history and carry out a thorough physical examination to determine the best course of action to enhance and optimize performance for you. They employ a wide range of modern techniques, such as manual therapy, acupuncture and exercise prescription to help promote health and well-being.

We work closely with our local Nuffield Health Hospital, on Tettenhall Road in Wolverhampton, as well as local GP's and sports clubs.

How can I help you improve your health?

I’ve gained a wealth of experience from my 8 years as a sports massage therapist, working with professional sports teams and UK Athletics. I started my career as a physiotherapist in 2009, within the NHS, but have been a senior physiotherapist at Nuffield Health since 2012.

I specialise in musculoskeletal conditions and am skilled in assessing and treating acute and chronic sports injuries, pre & post-surgical rehabilitation, occupational injuries (including work ergonomic assessments); and in pregnancy related and post-partum back and pelvic dysfunction. We have the advantage of gym and pool facilities to facilitate and promote your personal recovery and well-being.

I’m passionate about health and fitness and the physical and emotional benefits of exercise. I strive to educate, inspire and motivate my clients on their path to recovery. If you are suffering from pain or discomfort book an appointment to come and see me at our Wolverhampton gym.

How can I help you improve your health?

I started my career as a physiotherapist in 2004 within the NHS gaining valuable experience across all areas of physiotherapy including neurological and cardio respiratory rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, trauma and elective Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal (MSK) outpatients in my first 4 years.

I then chose to specialize in MSK Physiotherapy and I have been a Senior Physiotherapist at Nuffield Health since 2013, having previously worked at the Nuffield Wolverhampton Hospital. As such I have a wealth of experience of pre and post-operative orthopaedic management and rehabilitation. I am also skilled in the assessment and treatment of occupational injuries.

I am passionate about helping everybody, no matter what you age or fitness level, to live as active and healthy a life as possible and having been through sports injury and operative procedures personally I understand how frustrating the road back to health can be at times.
