Emma Caunce
How can I help you improve your health?
I qualified from Teesside university with a BSC (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 2005. My clinical experience is a mixed one of inpatient, outpatient, occupational health and even some community based work. The early part of my career saw me specialising in hand therapy, a year in cardio-thoracics and then orthopaedics and spinal surgery. I went on to enjoy some time in elderly care, with particular focus on dementia care and Parkinson’s patients. Most recently I spent time developing occupational physiotherapy services in-house for the West Midlands Ambulance Service, before starting here at the Nuffield Health in 2019.
Outside of work I am a high belt in karate, and currently play for Wombourne volleyball club in the midlands league.
