How can I help you improve your health?

I qualified from Teesside university with a BSC (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 2005. My clinical experience is a mixed one of inpatient, outpatient, occupational health and even some community based work. The early part of my career saw me specialising in hand therapy, a year in cardio-thoracics and then orthopaedics and spinal surgery. I went on to enjoy some time in elderly care, with particular focus on dementia care and Parkinson’s patients. Most recently I spent time developing occupational physiotherapy services in-house for the West Midlands Ambulance Service, before starting here at the Nuffield Health in 2019.

Outside of work I am a high belt in karate, and currently play for Wombourne volleyball club in the midlands league.

How can I help you improve your health?

I’ve gained a wealth of experience from my 8 years as a sports massage therapist, working with professional sports teams and UK Athletics. I started my career as a physiotherapist in 2009, within the NHS, but have been a senior physiotherapist at Nuffield Health since 2012.

I specialise in musculoskeletal conditions and am skilled in assessing and treating acute and chronic sports injuries, pre & post-surgical rehabilitation, occupational injuries (including work ergonomic assessments); and in pregnancy related and post-partum back and pelvic dysfunction. We have the advantage of gym and pool facilities to facilitate and promote your personal recovery and well-being.

I’m passionate about health and fitness and the physical and emotional benefits of exercise. I strive to educate, inspire and motivate my clients on their path to recovery. If you are suffering from pain or discomfort book an appointment to come and see me at our Wolverhampton gym.
