Simon Arundel

Simon studied Sport Rehabilitation at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, graduating in 2008. He then decided to pursue a Physiotherapy degree and completed this at the University of East Anglia in 2012. Shortly after graduating, Simon worked for Derby County FC as an Academy Physiotherapist.
He completed a season before moving to West Ham United FC. He worked for West Ham for over 3 years and was responsible for the medical provision of over a hundred players within the academy. Since joining Nuffield Health, Simon has continued his work with West Ham in a part-time capacity.
Simon has a keen interest in sports injuries and is currently studying for a master’s degree in Sports Physiotherapy from the University of Bath. His main areas of interest are lower limb injuries, injury prevention and late stage rehabilitation.
Simon is also skilled in managing back pain, tendinopathies and other musculoskeletal pain. Simon’s philosophy is to take a holistic approach to the patient’s conditions and provide the education and tools to avoid re-injury.
