Your initial 45-minute appointment involves an assessment and treatment. We assess your pain and symptoms to determine the cause of these symptoms, then recommend a treatment plan for you and begin this treatment. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Your physiotherapist will advise how many appointments you will need but you can stop treatment at any time.

Adam Bellis


How can I help you improve your health?

Adam completed his physiotherapy training at the University of Salford in 2003 and worked extensively in both the NHS and private practice before joining Nuffield Health in 2010. He has undertaken extensive post graduate training in manual therapy, pain science, sports rehabilitation, acupuncture, strength and conditioning, gait analysis, and ergonomics.

He is experienced in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal problems including spinal and orthopaedic conditions, sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, persistent pain and occupation health issues. He also has a degree in Sport & Exercise Science and a particular interest in running related injuries.

Adam regularly competes for a local athletics club and has several years’ experience as a sprints coach and strength & conditioning trainer with track & field athletes.

How can I help you improve your health?

Tricia has worked in a variety of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal settings, both in the NHS and private sector. Previous experience has included working with professional football and rugby players within the Manchester region, which has led to a keen interest in musculoskeletal sports injuries.

One of Tricia’s main passions in life is enhancing her own health and wellbeing by attending the gym regularly and by part taking in running and cycling events. To encourage others on the prevention of injury whilst keeping fit, she has provided immediate physiotherapy advice and treatment during events including the British Gas Open Water Swimming and Salford Quays Triathlon events at Media City.

Tricia has recently completed a MSc in Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and has a keen interest in Women’s Health conditions

Rob Walker


How can I help you improve your health?

Since beginning his physiotherapy career in 2010, Rob has worked extensively in private clinics across the North West and with England Touch Rugby before joining Nuffield Health in 2016.

He has completed extensive post graduate training in Pilates, acupuncture and dry needling, myofascial release and advanced spinal manipulation which he uses when indicated. He also has experience in orthotic prescription, ergonomic assessment and pain management.

Rob has a keen interest in sport and exercise having played rugby to a high level. He now keeps himself active with interests in kickboxing, running and strength training. His attitude towards health and exercise enables him to empathize with those struggling to achieve their goals through injury or disability.
