Your initial 45-minute appointment involves an assessment and treatment. We assess your pain and symptoms to determine the cause of these symptoms, then recommend a treatment plan for you and begin this treatment. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Your physiotherapist will advise how many appointments you will need but you can stop treatment at any time.

Owen David Richard Moore Physiotherapist About

Owen David Richard Moore

How can I help you improve your health?

During his physiotherapy career, Owen has predominantly worked within the NHS. He has treated a wide range of highly-complex musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions and has also worked in the private sector. His previous role as an Orthopaedic Practitioner involved working closely with GP’s and Surgeons to help triage patients for imaging, delivering treatment and onward referral for surgery.

He has a strong focus upon evidenced-based practice and functional movement rehabilitation. He has also been an external lecturer to the University of Nottingham. He is committed to pursuing excellence and measuring the outcomes of therapy to optimise care that is safe and effective.

How can I help you improve your health?

Daragh graduated from the Keele University in 2011 and has worked for the NHS for over four years. He has specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy over this period treating a wide range of acute and chronic conditions including spinal pain, post-operative rehabilitation and whiplash associated disorders.

He has attended many useful courses that have greatly informed and developed his practice.

How can I help you improve your health?

I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2006 and spent the early part of my career in Bristol carrying out my rotations as a junior physiotherapist.

I moved to Derbyshire to take up a role in the NHS as a senior musculoskeletal specialist physiotherapist. I have spent my entire career in the NHS. Within this time I have developed a breadth of experience in the assessment, diagnostics and management of musculoskeletal pain presentations.

I have completed post graduate courses in chronic pain management and radiology.

How can I help you improve your health?

Steven graduated from the university of Utrecht, The Netherlands in 1991 and has worked for the majority of his life in private sector both in the UK and overseas.

Since joining the Nuffield Health he has specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy gaining extensive experience working with both acute and chronic patients. He has an interest in ACL rehabilitation, post shoulder surgery and TMJ.

Rebecca Walker

How can I help you improve your health?

Rebecca graduated in 1997 and initially worked in the NHS before moving to the Nuffield Health Derby Hospital in 2007.

She specialises in women’s health, treating gynaecological, obstetric and chronic pelvic pain conditions, as well as seeing men’s health patients (predominately for chronic pelvic pain). She also treats general musculoskeletal and orthopaedic patients.
