Your initial 45-minute appointment involves an assessment and treatment. We assess your pain and symptoms to determine the cause of these symptoms, then recommend a treatment plan for you and begin this treatment. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Your physiotherapist will advise how many appointments you will need but you can stop treatment at any time.

How can I help you improve your health?

I qualified from the University of Manchester in 2002 and after 3 years of NHS work have been a Physiotherapist with Nuffield Health since.

I am passionate about helping people get back to fitness and function either after injury or surgery. I have a vast and varied experience of assessing and treating musculo-skeletal conditions from acute sporting injuries to more persistent chronic conditions. I also work with patients during their recovery from various orthopaedic procedures.

I enjoy being able to utilise the facilities at the gym to make treatment varied and interesting. I have a keen interest in knee injuries and rehabilitation.

I also utilise manual therapies such as massage and also practice acupuncture.

How can I help you improve your health?

Steven graduated from the university of Utrecht, The Netherlands in 1991 and has worked for the majority of his life in private sector both in the UK and overseas.

Since joining the Nuffield Health he has specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy gaining extensive experience working with both acute and chronic patients. He has an interest in ACL rehabilitation, post shoulder surgery and TMJ.

Rebecca Walker

How can I help you improve your health?

Rebecca graduated in 1997 and initially worked in the NHS before moving to the Nuffield Health Derby Hospital in 2007.

She specialises in women’s health, treating gynaecological, obstetric and chronic pelvic pain conditions, as well as seeing men’s health patients (predominately for chronic pelvic pain). She also treats general musculoskeletal and orthopaedic patients.
