Your initial 45-minute appointment involves an assessment and treatment. We assess your pain and symptoms to determine the cause of these symptoms, then recommend a treatment plan for you and begin this treatment. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Your physiotherapist will advise how many appointments you will need but you can stop treatment at any time.

Chris Dorey


How can I help you improve your health?

After qualifying Chris specialised in musculoskeletal injuries working in a variety of setting including the rehabilitation of sports injuries. Through his experience Chris developed a special interest in treating knee and shoulder injuries.

Alongside working for Nuffield Chris is currently completing a masters in Advanced Manipulative Physiotherapy at Birmingham university and as part of this is completing research with Olympic athletes into shoulder pain.

Chris has developed a strong focus on using manual therapy techniques within his practice along with ensuring patients have appropriate exercises and advice to manage their condition and avoid re injury. Outside of work Chris enjoys keeping fit and active with a variety of outdoor sports including cycling, walking, skiing and trail running with his pet Labrador.

How can I help you improve your health?

Graduating from Coventry University in 2008. Judy initially worked in the NHS before specialising in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal & sporting conditions.

Areas of interest: Sports, aviation, cervical spine, aqua therapy, Pilates, acupuncture, women's health and respiratory physiotherapy. Judy has worked at the Commonwealth Games and in the military physiotherapy environment. Judy is our team lead on Women's health and gynaecological physiotherapy. Outside of work: She enjoys skiing, canoeing, cycling and plays netball in a local league.

Heather Ruane


How can I help you improve your health?

Heather graduated from Bournemouth University in 2008 and spent 6 years gaining experience and post graduate training in different NHS settings, before joining Nuffield Health.

Heather enjoys working with all age groups and has experience in treating acute and chronic conditions, including spinal pain, post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, paediatric conditions and pregnancy related pain.

She has a passion for teaching Clinical Pilates and engaging patients in lifestyle change, to optimise their health and wellbeing.

Heather works at our Warwick gym on Tuesdays, Thursday and Fridays. Her other work for Nuffield Health is in case management as an Advanced Level Physiotherapist and in mentoring and service development as one of our regional clinical leads.

Outside of work, Heather loves to cook, practice yoga, go running and visit her family by the coast.
