Your initial 45-minute appointment involves an assessment and treatment. We assess your pain and symptoms to determine the cause of these symptoms, then recommend a treatment plan for you and begin this treatment. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Your physiotherapist will advise how many appointments you will need but you can stop treatment at any time.

We can offer expertise in upper limb and hand rehabilitation, pain management programmes and post-surgical recovery. Many of our therapists are also trained in Pilates, Acupuncture and Joint Manipulation, carrying out thorough biomechanical assessments to enhance and optimize function.

We have strong links with many orthopaedic consultants and have an excellent track record in the rehabilitation of upper and lower limb sports injuries. In addition we can offer pre and post natal treatment and advice as well as vertigo and balance rehabilitation with our vestibular specialist.

How can I help you improve your health?

Michelle treats any musculoskeletal problems, from lower back pain to tennis elbow, including sports injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. She has a broad range of treatment skills including manual therapy (joint, soft tissue & nerve), exercise prescription, acupuncture, electrotherapy and Pilates.

She has a keen interest in the rehabilitation of shoulder, hip and knee problems. Her treatment plans are always aimed at tackling the root cause of the problem, rather than just the symptoms.

She enjoys keeping fit and participates in swimming, cycling and racquet sports. She has previously completed a number of triathlons and marathons.

How can I help you improve your health?

Kate graduated from Northumbria University in 2006 with a BSc (Hons) in physiotherapy. She then worked in the NHS for 5 years gaining a broad range of skills and specialising in orthopaedics and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Kate then went on to work as a Physiotherapy Extended Scope Practitioner in A&E for 3 years gaining extensive skills in the diagnosis and management of acute injuries. She then returned to her passion of the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.

Kate prides herself on her commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients and working with them to achieve their specific goals.

She has a variety of treatment skills including joint mobilisation, exercise prescription, acupuncture, soft tissue treatments and hydrotherapy.

Kate has a special interest in sport injuries, orthopaedic rehabilitation and spinal diagnosis and treatment. Kate also has a passion for indoor and outdoor skydiving and competes at an international level.
