Sophie studied her Degree at The University of the West of England, where she had the opportunity to work in many specialist hospitals in Bristol and surrounding areas.
After qualifying she spent two years working as a rotational physiotherapist in the NHS. Gaining key skills and experience in a wide range of clinical settings. She then spent a year as a senior physiotherapist in the borough of Kingston treating people in their homes post orthopaedic surgery, falls prevention and rehabilitation post hospital stay.
Sophie has now focused her career towards musculoskeletal physiotherapy gaining further skills in gait analysis, bike set up and rehabilitation of running and cycling injuries. She has a keen interest in and out of work in endurance running and triathlon.
She has also trained as a personal trainer Level 3 and massage therapist and has spent 2 years working as a physiotherapist and/or massage therapist on board super yachts around the world.
She has previous experience working within semi-professional football and currently supports young talented athletes and swimmers towards achieving international success. Such experience has helped her to develop a breadth of knowledge in the treatment and rehabilitation of both acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries in adult and paediatric patients.
