Physiotherapy - how can it help you?

Physiotherapy is a clinical treatment used to restore movement and for rehabilitation after injury. Physiotherapy is commonly thought of in terms of muscle and joint conditions, such as back pain, which can often be caused during exercise or at work, but it can also be used to treat more complex conditions and for post-operative rehabilitation.

At Nuffield Health Crawley Fitness & Wellbeing Gym our experienced physiotherapists use a range of manual techniques to treat and manage pain but also provide key lifestyle and exercise advice to minimise the risk of injury or pain reoccurring.

John McPike

How can I help you improve your health?

I have over 10 years post graduate experience. My aim as a physiotherapist is to help you manage and hopefully resolve your condition. I fully understand the impact pain and injury can have on your life. Short and long term injury is both physically and emotionally challenging. My aim is help you manage any pain and decreased function associated with your condition.

I work in a mixture of settings. I spend two days a week working with patients after they have had surgery. Potentially, seeing and progressing them through months of rehabilitation. The remaining days of my week are between two gym based clinics, where I see a mixture of conditions such as sports injuries or, as is increasingly the case neck and lower back pain which tends to be common amongst office workers.
