Your initial 45-minute appointment involves an assessment and treatment. We assess your pain and symptoms to determine the cause of these symptoms, then recommend a treatment plan for you and begin this treatment. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Your physiotherapist will advise how many appointments you will need but you can stop treatment at any time.

How can I help you improve your health?

Imran has over 7 years of extensive outpatients MSK outpatients experience within the NHS and private sector. He is involved with and has an interest with the management of hip arthroscopy surgery and labral tears working alongside orthopaedic surgeons.

Imran is also acupuncture trained and regularly uses this treatment as an adjunct to assist back pain, chronic pain management and other suitable conditions.

Having completed a Diploma in Sports Massage alongside many other courses over the years, Imran has a myriad of manual therapy skills and knowledge.

He is also trained in office ergonomics allowing him to complete work station assessments and car seat assessment and provide advice regarding posture and work related ailments.

How can I help you improve your health?

Sophie qualified in 2010 from Coventry University. After a year working in general rotations Sophie began to specialise into neurology, working in head injuries and stroke.

In 2013 Sophie moved to Australia for 8 months to work in a spinal injuries unit and complete her level 2 & 3 APPI pilates mat work series. 

Sophie has over 5 years of neurological physiotherapy experience working in the NHS, and private sector. She completed her masters in 2015 and is planning to commence a PhD specialising in stroke and exercise.

Currently Sophie works in the neurological outpatient setting in NHS and at Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital, seeing patients over the age of 16 with brain injuries, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's, cerebral palsy and stroke as well as working within neurological research.

Minal has worked in a variety of settings within the NHS and private sector, working for Nuffield Health since 2003 as a senior physiotherapist specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Having completed a Masters in Manual Therapy, Minal is able to combine different approaches to physiotherapy, and create tailor made rehab programs specific to each individual.

Minal uses acupuncture in her patient management to enhance physiotherapy outcome – she is registered with AACP and MACP.

Minal has a specialist interest in pregnancy related pain. She is currently undertaking a qualification in advanced pregnancy functional exercise and birth preparation.

She specialises in advice on staying active during pregnancy and maintaining strength of core muscles as well as assisting to resolve post- partum issues such as diastasis.

Nicky Hignett


How can I help you improve your health?

Nicky has gained extensive musculo-skeletal experience working within the NHS and private sector as well as multiple elite sporting environments which include: British Gymnastics, England Ladies Rugby and Leicestershire County Cricket Club.

In 2009 she completed a Masters degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine at Nottingham University providing a solid knowledge of injury assessment and management.

Nicky also has a special interest in post-surgical breast cancer care - having completed a masters module in Breast Cancer Care and attended various courses by the world leading trainer Willem Fourie in complications post mastectomy and other related oncological surgeries.

She also offers acupuncture for oncological side effects such as fatigue. She is a qualified APPI Pilates instructor using these skills for both assessment and treatment of long standing lower back pain and is a registered AACP trained acupuncturist.

Lynsey is a highly skilled physiotherapist with over ten years' experience assessing and treating a variety of musculo-skeletal conditions within the NHS and private sector. 

She is trained in McKenzie based assessment and management of the spine and neck and as an adjunct to this is also AACP trained in acupuncture for pain relief.

Lynsey runs our specialist post-operative knee classes to enhance our recovery programmes. She has a keen interest in lower limb rehabilitation after orthopaedic surgery and injury.

She is also trained in Vestibular Rehabilitation, which is specialist treatment for individuals suffering from dizziness and balance problems.

Lynsey has also spent time travelling abroad, where she has had the opportunity to do some invaluable volunteer physiotherapy work in Tanzania with disabled children and adults.

She has a special interest in women’s health and has a varied caseload including post-operative gynaecological surgery and treating urinary incontinence. She is a qualified FitBack and Bumps instructor providing pilates both for ante and postnatal ladies.

How can I help you improve your health?

Clare qualified in Wales in 1999 and since then has worked in NHS, the British Army and in the private sector.

Clare enjoys working with a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries but has a special interest in sports rehabilitation, particularly the ankle and foot. Clare has recently undertaken specialist training in running assessment and rehabilitation.
