How can I help you improve your health?

I joined Nuffield Health in April 2016 as Senior Physiotherapist. I have achieved a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy in 2011 from the University of Brighton and I am working towards an MSc in Musculoskeletal Medicine.

I have previously worked for over four years in two busy Brighton clinics alongside chiropractors specialising in back care.

I have experience working with triathletes and working alongside personal trainers to achieve the best recovery potential from an injury. I have been especially interested in shoulder and knee injuries.

Originally from France I moved to the UK in 2008 to start my physiotherapy degree. I speak Spanish as well as French and English.

How can I help you improve your health?

Since completing his Physiotherapy degree at the University of Nottingham in 2011, Lewis has experienced working in a variety of settings including the NHS, private clinics and elite sports clubs. This has given him invaluable experience managing a diverse array of injuries and conditions.

Lewis has helped patients achieve realistic goals from increasing general fitness, to returning to advanced level sporting demands. Along the way Lewis has learnt skills in sports massage, joint mobilisations, rigid and dynamic sports taping, acupuncture and the importance of balancing rehab and exercise with load management.

Lewis’s passion for physiotherapy is rooted by his own interest in exercise and fitness. He grew up with a passion for football and played for the football academies at West Ham United and Cambridge United. As well as continuing to play football at the weekends, Lewis also mixes up his routine with racket sports like tennis, badminton, table tennis and squash.

I joined Nuffield Health in July 2016 and am really enjoying it so far. Outside of Nuffield Health I work in the NHS as a Senior Physiotherapist.

I graduated from Manchester University in 2012 with a first class honours. I moved to the bright lights of London from Manchester in November 2015. I have worked previously in both the NHS and private sectors. My particular areas of interest include running injuries, having worked previously with a local running club, and teaching pilates.

In Manchester I worked heavily in the area of health promotion and as part of this, I was a lead in facilitating a pilot for Sport England ‘This girl can campaign’.

More recently I have been fortunate to gain experience working with the GB Taekwondo team in their preparation for Rio.
