Your initial 45-minute appointment involves an assessment and treatment. We assess your pain and symptoms to determine the cause of these symptoms, then recommend a treatment plan for you and begin this treatment. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Your physiotherapist will advise how many appointments you will need but you can stop treatment at any time.

Physiotherapy in Bloomsbury - how can it help you?

The ultimate aim of physiotherapy is to help restore movement and normal body function where a patient is injured or recovering from surgery. Physiotherapy is commonly used in the successful treatment of muscle and joint conditions, such as back and lower limb pain, as well as more complex complaints including women's health issues and post-operative rehabilitation.

Our physiotherapists at Bloomsbury Fitness & Wellbeing Gym take a holistic approach to treatment, looking at the whole body, and use a wide range of manual techniques. They also offer lifestyle and exercise guidance to try to minimise the risk of the injury reoccurring, or the patient experiencing further problems in the future.

How are Nuffield Health different to other physiotherapy clinics?

Kerstin Sendler Physiotherapist About

Kerstin Sendler

How can I help you improve your health?

Kerstin is a passionate physiotherapist with over 10 years' experience since graduating in Magdeburg, Germany.

After working several years rehabilitating brain injured patients she decided to widen her knowledge and graduated from the German Sports University Cologne as Sports Scientist. Combining both professions she worked for the German Sports University Cologne in a research project for an exercise programme for patients with Dementia.

In the private sector she specialised in work-related injuries with the premise to bring the patient back to work including workplace simulation treatment. During this time she developed a special interest in pain management.

She then completed extensive post-graduated training in Manual Therapy and Bobath-Concept. Her special interests in musculoskeletal disorders are lower back pain, sports injuries and shoulder problems.

Kerstin's treatment approach is hands on physiotherapy combined with specific exercises to improve the client’s physiological movements. She is restless until she finds the source of the problem.
