Your initial 45-minute appointment involves an assessment and treatment. We assess your pain and symptoms to determine the cause of these symptoms, then recommend a treatment plan for you and begin this treatment. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Your physiotherapist will advise how many appointments you will need but you can stop treatment at any time.

After completing his BSc (Hons) sports rehabilitation degree Allen went on to complete an MSc (Pre-Reg) in Physiotherapy. He possess a wealth of experience in the treatment and management of a range of health conditions including back pain, knee pain and sports injuries. His knowledge has been developed within a variety of professional environments, such as the NHS, private clinics and various sports teams including Leeds United Ladies Football Club.

Allen has completed courses in pilates and is qualified in acupuncture. He is currently the lead Recovery Plus physiotherapist for Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital and the surrounding Fitness & Wellbeing Gyms.

During his physiotherapy career Anthony has worked full time in both the NHS and private settings since qualifying with a 1st in 2007 from Manchester Metropolitan University. For the last three years he has worked on a part time basis at Leeds United Football Club working as a senior physiotherapist within their academy.

Anthony is a member of the ACPSM, CSP and is fully state registered with the HCPC. He has extensive experience working in lower limb rehabilitation and also has a special interest in treating post-operative shoulder conditions.

He now works as an Advanced Level Physiotherapist for Nuffield Health in Leeds.

How can I help you improve your health?

Dan qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2010 and began his career in the NHS, working as a junior rotational physiotherapist. This role allowed him to gain a wide breadth of knowledge across many specialities, each of which has helped to shape his practice. He has used these skills since he started working at Nuffield Health in 2014, initially in an out-patient setting and more recently working as a senior orthopaedic inpatient Physiotherapist, whilst continuing to maintain one out-patient clinic a week.

Dan has a special interest in lower limb pathologies and rehabilitation, particularly in patients following orthopaedic or musculoskeletal surgery. He enjoys working closely with patients before their operations, educating them immediately post-operatively and then guiding them through their rehab to return to sport/function.

In his spare time he is a competitive middle and long distance runner, and uses his understanding of human movement and his own training experiences to help optimise his patient’s daily function and athletic performance.

Janine qualified from Sheffield Hallam University in 2004. After spending 5 ½ years in the NHS and academy football she joined Nuffield Health, originally working in the gym setting before moving to Leeds to be the Outpatient Lead.

Janine feels she has gained a wealth of experience working within the different environments and has developed both personally and professionally. She has experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal problems and post-operative rehabilitation, she specialises in Women’s and Men’s health and has a very close working relationship with the urogynae and urology consultants in Leeds.

She is qualified to teach pilates and practice acupuncture which is used to treat a variety of problems within the practice.

Laura has 15 years’ experience working in both the NHS and within Nuffield Health, which has enabled her to work with a varied caseload. She works with patients who have undergone many different types of surgical procedures, both on the ward and critical care unit and is lucky enough to be able to work with cardiac patients post-surgically and in the out-patient cardiac rehabilitation classes.

Her specialism is in cardio respiratory physiotherapy, and alongside her role as in-patient clinical lead in Leeds, she is also inpatient and respiratory lead for Nuffield Health Wellbeing. Laura is also part of the teaching team at Leeds Beckett University, where she lectures on physiology and cardiovascular respiratory physiotherapy.
