Your initial 45-minute appointment involves an assessment and treatment. We assess your pain and symptoms to determine the cause of these symptoms, then recommend a treatment plan for you and begin this treatment. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Your physiotherapist will advise how many appointments you will need but you can stop treatment at any time.

Since the completion of his Bachelor degree in Greece, Evangelos has gone on to further expand his clinical skills with the acquisition of a Masters degree in Advanced Manipulative Physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham. The integration of evidence based theory into practice has enabled him to become a member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.

Evangelos has worked within the NHS and private clinic settings, joining The Manor Hospital in 2015. He works in the outpatient department assessing and treating patients with a variety of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and sports injuries. His clinical expertise includes the application of spinal manipulation techniques, soft tissue mobilisation, acupuncture and specific functional rehabilitation exercises.

After qualifying in Bradford, Yorkshire Isobel worked at The John Radcliffe Hospital, before moving onto The Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre. Within these NHS hospitals she developed her interest in trauma and orthopaedics.

Isobel moved to The Manor Hospital as physiotherapy manager in 2011 and then onto become The integrated clinical services manager in 2013. She is committed to running a first class service so all patients can achieve an excellent outcome.

Alongside her managerial role, she has a high clinical commitment working on the wards treating patients post orthopaedic, cardiac, gynaecological and general surgery, empowering patients with the knowledge they need for discharge.

Since qualifying from the University of Brighton, Linzi has worked within private hospitals based in Oxford. She joined The Manor Hospital in 2011, becoming a senior physiotherapist within the In-patient team. Her clinical work is primarily based on the wards and ITU, rehabilitating patients post orthopaedic, cardiothoracic, spinal, gynaecological and general medical surgery.

Orthopaedics is one of her specialist interests and she has gained a wealth of knowledge by working in Oxford, and learning from the consultants. Further to this she is a member of The Association of Trauma and Orthopaedic physiotherapists where clinical knowledge and best practice is discussed at a national level.

Further to her in-patient specialism, Linzi teaches Pilates classes, beginners to advanced level. She has attended a range of Pilates courses heightening her knowledge and enhancing the participants outcomes.

Having qualified in 2005, Jess spent a year consolidating her undergraduate training working within the hydrotherapy service at the Nuffield Health Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford. She then developed a passion for orthopaedic care and initially specialising in in-patient orthopaedic care before developing an outpatient caseload.

Prior to joining the Manor, Jess was involved in establishing and expanding the physiotherapy clinical service at a local hospital. At the Manor Hospital, she has developed her in-patient knowledge and out-patient skill mix with a particular interest in Chronic Pain management and the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Working closely with various consultants she is keen to expand the delivery of chronic pain and vestibular services.

To compliment her academic interests she has been a voluntary athletics official for the last 20 years, the peak of this was assisting at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games. She also provides voluntary classification, technical and therapy support to many wheelchair and ambulant athletes linking with Stoke Mandeville.

Emma has worked for Nuffield Health since 2005, firstly as a bank physiotherapist and then in 2009 she joined the team as a permanent member of staff.

She currently works part time, mainly on the wards, which includes orthopaedic, spinal, cardiac and gynaecological procedures.

Emma also teaches Pilates, and works with the Triage Standard Diary. Previous roles have included out-patients at the Manor, and various roles for the NHS in Oxford, including ITU, community learning disabilities, gerontology and orthopaedics.
