Your initial 45-minute appointment involves an assessment and treatment. We assess your pain and symptoms to determine the cause of these symptoms, then recommend a treatment plan for you and begin this treatment. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Your physiotherapist will advise how many appointments you will need but you can stop treatment at any time.

What is Physiotherapy?

Our physiotherapy team are all experienced clinicians, members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and are registered with the Health Professions Council. So you can relax in the knowledge you're in the hands of the experts.

We can offer expertise in upper limb and hand rehabilitation, pain management programmes and post-surgical recovery. Many of our therapists are also trained in pilates, acupuncture and joint manipulation, carrying out thorough biomechanical assessments to enhance and optimise function.

We provide comprehensive assessments and treatments tailored to your exact needs. Your physio will look at your medical history and carry out a thorough physical examination to determine the best course of action.

How can I help you improve your health?

I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2015 and enjoy being able to help people achieve their goals. I have completed my junior rotations within the NHS before deciding to specialise in MSK Physiotherapy. I am currently doing my maters degree in Clinical Biomechanics and I believe this is an important area of injury prevention and rehab. I have an interest in paediatric physiotherapy and completed paediatric training as part of my junior rotations. I try to ensure every person I see is empowered about their care and that they have an input every step of the way.

How can I help you improve your health?

After graduating from the University of Birmingham I have worked dutifully in both NHS and private healthcare service provision. I specialised in musculoskeletal, orthopaedics and sports injury rehabilitation across a variety of acute inpatient, outpatient and gym based environments.

I worked at the 2012 Paralympic Games, as part of the Canadian wheelchair rugby medical team and have an ongoing voluntary role with the English Institute of Sport for GB Cycling, GB Rowing and GB Boxing.

Furthermore, I have worked within the Birmingham Royal Ballet to enhance my knowledge of dance medicine and improve my understanding of complex lower limb pathologies.

I have a wide range of experience and education in the assessment and management of orthopaedic conditions and musculoskeletal injuries sustained in sport, postoperatively and everyday wear and tear. Management options include manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, acupuncture, sports taping, electrotherapy and advice.

I enjoy treating a variety of conditions from head to toe, with a particular interest in lower limb pathologies. From weekend warriors to marathon runners, lower back pain to an ankle sprain, if you need any advice to get you back on form, don’t hesitate to book yourself in.

Outside of work, I’m an avid runner, cross fitter and gym enthusiast.

After graduating from the University of Birmingham in 2004, I have worked within NHS, sports and the private sectors. Over the past 13 years I have specialised in musculoskeletal, orthopaedics and sports injury rehabilitation within a variety of inpatient, outpatient and gym based environments.

I also worked at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, as part of the hockey medical team and in a voluntary role with cycling, snowboarding, pitch side hockey and water sports. I have a wide and extensive range of experience and education in the assessment and management of orthopaedics and musculoskeletal injuries sustained in sport, training and everyday life, through treatments such as: manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, pilates, acupuncture, aquatic therapy, road bike fit, sports taping and advice.

I enjoy treating a variety of conditions and I'm here to help get you back on the road to recovery and to the pastimes or sports that you love doing. My main interests are: cycling,  winter sports, hockey/field sports and board sports.

Outside of Physiotherapy, I enjoy travelling, playing club hockey, snowboarding, road cycling and board sports.
