Your initial 45-minute appointment involves an assessment and treatment. We assess your pain and symptoms to determine the cause of these symptoms, then recommend a treatment plan for you and begin this treatment. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Your physiotherapist will advise how many appointments you will need but you can stop treatment at any time.

Located minutes from Cheam Village and Cheam railway station, Nuffield Health Cheam Fitness & Wellbeing Gym is conveniently situated close to Cheam's town centre. Our gym provides an abundance of free parking so we are in an ideal location for patients travelling from further afield, such as Epsom, Ewell, Surbiton and Carshalton for their physiotherapy treatment.

We have a friendly and professional team of Senior Physiotherapists, each with over 10 years experience. Each Physiotherapist is extremely knowledgeable and has their own areas of special clinical interests which include:

  • Upper and Lower Limb Biomechanics
  • Orthopaedic Rehabilitation
  • Tendinopathy Management
  • Foot and Ankle dysfunction/injuries
  • Ergonomics
  • Pregnancy-related conditions.

All of our Physiotherapists are trained in Western Acupuncture and Kinesio Taping. We also offer Clinical Pilates, both in a class and one to one setting. Our Physiotherapists make good use of the gym, often performing rehabilitation exercises with clients as well as maintaining a good relationship with the Fitness Team who often support.

Appointments are available every day of the working week, at varying times and often within 24-48 hours.

How can I help you improve your health?

Charlotte gained a BSc in Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation in 2011 before completing an MSc in Physiotherapy in 2014. She is currently completing her final research project for an MSc in Sports Physiotherapy at The University of Bath.

 Charlotte has worked across disciplines in the NHS and private sector, gaining a breadth of experience in multiple areas of practice, which has enhanced her musculoskeletal Physiotherapy skills. Charlotte has worked with elite dancers and performers during her time at The Royal Ballet School, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance, as well as touring the UK with a large musical theatre production. Charlotte has also worked at British Gymnastics and World Athletic events supporting elite athletes at world competition level.

Charlotte has special interests in sports and performing arts medicine, as well as adolescent sports and female health. Charlotte is confident in managing a range of conditions from acute injuries to longer-term, sport-related presentations such as bone stress injuries and post-operative rehabilitation.

She is also qualified in Aquatic Therapy and a yoga teacher, which she often uses as part of her management approach. Outside of Physiotherapy, Charlotte enjoys yoga, the great outdoors and seeking new adventures & challenges.
