Your initial 45-minute appointment involves an assessment and treatment. We assess your pain and symptoms to determine the cause of these symptoms, then recommend a treatment plan for you and begin this treatment. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Your physiotherapist will advise how many appointments you will need but you can stop treatment at any time.

How can I help you improve your health?

larla, a Chartered Physiotherapist originally from Ireland completed his undergraduate degree in BSc in Sport & Exercise Science and subsequently an MSc in Physiotherapy. 

larla found his passion working in sport and gained experience working within professional and amateur rugby including Springbok 7s, Western Province, Munster rugby and Leicester Tigers. Iarla has also worked within disciplines including rowing, golf, football, hockey and netball. 

He has experience in a variety of specialities with the NHS and found enjoyment in working closely with patient-specific goals in mind to get people where they wanted to be. 

In his spare time, larla has a passion for the outdoors and enjoys rock climbing, hiking and surfing, and competes in CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting.

How can I help you improve your health?

Alex is a Chartered Physiotherapist completing her BSc Physiotherapy degree at Northumbria University.

Alex has previously worked in the NHS completing rotations in various settings, worked in private practice specialising in MSK and sports and worked alongside the military as a physiotherapist.  

Alex has been serving as a British Army Reservist since 2012. Previously a Combat Medic but commissioned as an Army Officer in 2019, fulfilling various roles including Troop Commander, Physiotherapist and more recently Unit Fitness Training Officer. 

In her spare time, Alex is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys spending any spare time in the outdoors, regardless of the weather! Enjoying summer and winter mountaineering, rock-climbing, cross-country skiing/Rollerskiing and badminton.

How can I help you improve your health?

Tanja has extensive clinical experience in orthopaedic assessment and treatment of different musculoskeletal and sports injuries. As a clinician, her goal is to provide modern physiotherapy assessment and treatment that is supported by the latest scientific findings and is tailored to the individual. For that reason, Tanja is currently working on a Master's degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at the University of Brighton and has finished multiple different postgraduate physiotherapy courses. 

Whether your goal is to recover from current injuries, injury prevention or long-term management of pre-existing conditions, Tanja will be able to modify the exercises and tailor them to you to achieve positive results.  

Tanja has a special interest in sports and running/hiking-related injuries. As a keen climber, she also has personal (as well as professional experience) treating sore shoulders and elbows.

How can I help you improve your health?

I have over 25 years of physiotherapy experience working across NHS and private practices. In the NHS I headed a 'Quick and Early Diagnosis Centre', a 'Soft Tissue Clinic' and supported the 'Borders Back Pain' service.

In sport I have worked with the Royal Ballet, Melrose Rugby Club as well as professional tennis players. Academically I have lectured at Masters level (Coventry University) and Undergraduate level (Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh and Vienna University of Applied Sciences).
