Your initial 45-minute appointment involves an assessment and treatment. We assess your pain and symptoms to determine the cause of these symptoms, then recommend a treatment plan for you and begin this treatment. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Your physiotherapist will advise how many appointments you will need but you can stop treatment at any time.

How can I help you improve your health?

Charlotte qualified from the University of Northumbria in 1998. She started her career at Sunderland Royal Hospital before moving down South to work at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital where she developed her passion in Pelvic Health. In 2003 she started working at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital as a specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist and then worked as an Extended Scope Physiotherapy Practitioner and Team lead for nearly 20 years. She gained her Masters in Women’s Health at Bradford University and full membership of POGP. Following this, she qualified as an independent Non-Medical Prescriber.

Her specialist interests include Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, Menopause, Paediatric Incontinence, Sexual Dysfunction, Pelvic Organ Prolapse.

Charlotte is married with two energetic young boys, 3 dogs and two cats. Charlotte also works as a veterinary physiotherapist (ACPAT) at a small animal hospital. In her spare time, she enjoys all aspects of sport and is currently in training for an Ironman Triathlon. More relaxing hobbies include gardening and baking.

How can I help you improve your health?

I completed a Sports Science degree at Loughborough University, whilst competing competitively in Athletics. Having benefitted from physiotherapy treatment myself during this time I developed an interest within this area and completed a Physiotherapy degree at Brunel University.

I started my physiotherapy career at Hillingdon Hospital, where I worked for almost 10 years. During this time, I gained clinical and practical experience working alongside orthopaedic consultants, highly skilled physiotherapists and extended scope practitioners. I completed my Acupuncture and clinical Pilates training during this time and developed a keen interest in low back pain.

How can I help you improve your health?

Catherine has a wide range of expertise in treating many physiotherapy conditions, from sporting injuries to postural issues. She specialise in biomechanics of the lumbar spine, hip and knee.

Catherine is passionate about the role physiotherapy plays in getting people back to full health and places a strong focus on self-awareness so that patients get long-term benefits from treatment.

Catherine is currently developing new skills and expertise through a Masters programme in Advanced Neuromuscular Physiotherapy and also teaches clinical pilates. (Classes are available to both members and non-members of the gym).
