Every course of treatment starts with a 45-minute initial assessment to assess your symptoms, then recommend the right plan for you and begin treatment. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Your physiotherapist will advise how many appointments you will need but you can stop treatment at any time. *Treatment price does not include specialist pelvic health physiotherapy appointments.

What is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is a profession whose aim is to encourage and support the return to normal following illness, surgery, disease or trauma. It can be effective in the treatment of a range of muscle, joint and nerve conditions.
Physiotherapists use a wide range of techniques such as manual therapy and exercise prescription to maintain health for people of all ages, helping patients to manage pain and prevent disease.
We provide comprehensive assessments and treatments tailored to your exact needs. Your physio will look at your medical history and carry out a thorough physical examination to determine the best course of action.
The Physiotherapy service at The Apiary at Granta Park offers:
- Assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, including back, neck, shoulder, hip, knee, hand, and foot problems
- Sports injury assessment, treatment, and prevention
- Chronic pain management
- Post-operative rehabilitation and support with returning to sport and everyday activities
- Osteoarthritis management
- Individualised exercise, rehabilitation, and conditioning programmes
- Manual therapy, including joint mobilisation and manipulation
- Soft tissue massage and trigger point therapy
- Ergonomic and postural assessments with practical advice and guidance

Self-pay and referral options
We welcome both self-funding clients and those with private medical insurance. You do not need to be a Nuffield Health member to receive physiotherapy treatment at Granta Park. No GP or specialist referral is required, and you can book by calling our central booking team on 0345 045 4845. If you are claiming through private medical insurance, please have your authorisation code available when booking your appointment.
