Dermatological surgery

Find out what dermatological surgery involves, from removing skin cancers and moles to Mohs surgery, recovery times and the possible risks involved.

Mole removal

Moles are a form of pigmented lesion. Benign (non cancerous) lesions can simply be left alone. However if your mole bothers you in any way your consultant may recommend removal (excision).

Skin lesion removal

If a mole, skin tag, cyst or other skin lesion is causing discomfort, catching on clothing, or changing in appearance, expert assessment and treatment can provide both reassurance and relief. At Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital, our experienced surgeons offer specialist skin lesion removal for benign skin conditions, using tailored techniques designed to achieve the best possible cosmetic result while minimising discomfort and scarring.

Skin surgery

Many of our hospitals offer surgery for benign (non-cancerous) and malignant (cancerous) conditions of the skin.

Soft tissue lump service

The soft tissue lump service allows rapid and reliable assessment and treatment of soft tissue tumours of the limbs and torso.
