Ankle fusion

Ankle fusion, also known as ankle arthrodesis, is a surgical procedure performed to relieve chronic pain and instability caused by severe end-stage ankle arthritis or trauma. Damaged or diseased cartilage is removed from the joint and then the main ankle bones - the tibia (shin bone) and the talus - are permanently joined together with screws and plates.

Ankle ligament repair

Ankle ligament repair is a surgical procedure designed to treat chronic ankle instability, a condition where the ankle frequently feels wobbly and "gives way." This instability typically occurs after repeated or severe ankle sprains have stretched or torn the ligaments on the outside of the ankle, leaving them too loose to effectively support the joint.

Bilateral Tenotomy

A tenotomy is a procedure to lengthen a muscle that has not developed properly or that has shortened due to injury or lack of mobility. Typically a tendon is cut allowing the muscle to stretch again and the limb to straighten.

Shockwave therapy is a non-surgical treatment, and works by delivering impulses of energy, targeted to specific damaged tissues within the abnormal tendon.
