Abdominal adhesion surgery

Abdominal adhesions are fibrous bands of scar tissue that cause internal organs and tissues to stick together. The surgical procedure to correct this, known as abdominal adhesion surgery or adhesiolysis, involves carefully cutting these bands to release the affected organs.
