For more information please read our FAQs here.
Ensuring we treat who we can, as quickly as we can, safelyWe are committed to reducing the time people have to wait to be seen, but acknowledge that it’s taking longer than it was before the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
As it stands, our formal agreement to support the NHS continues, however the agreement now allows us to see patients paying for themselves and those with Private Medical Insurance. The majority of our clinics and diagnostics are therefore open and seeing patients.
To ensure the safety of our patients, staff and consultants we have extensive safety measures in place to make our hospital COVID-19 secure. These measures are guided by the UK government, Public Health England (PHE), and our infection prevention team.
To help ensure we maintain the safety of our hospital, we need your support: please don’t attend if you have any COVID-19 symptoms, or have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19. While at the hospital please wear a face covering, arrive on time for your appointment, regularly use the hand gel provided and maintain social distancing.

Our response to the CQC report:
“This is the highest possible rating we could have achieved and I am incredibly proud of the whole team for the outstanding care we provide our patients. This is a true testament to the dedication and commitment of everyone associated with the hospital, from our nurses and physiotherapists, to housekeepers and receptionists. Everyone is tremendously proud of this result.” - Andrew Eadsforth, Hospital Director, Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital.
