The findings from the report ‘Improving wellbeing in schools’, conclude that the role should not be added to the existing staff’s responsibilities, if it is to have an impact on students and staff.

The alliance will co-design and implement complete cancer care pathways for patients in the UK, including expanding existing operations and improving access in under-served regions.

Leading not-for-profit UK healthcare organisation Nuffield Health has received approval from the City of London to renovate the dilapidated former pathology and residential staff quarters buildings at London’s oldest hospital, St Bartholomew’s. The pathology building developed ‘cult status’ after it had a key role in the second series of the BBC programme Sherlock.

To support those living with cancer, Nuffield Health has launched Relax & Restore Cancer Care Treatment: a bespoke range of treatments that have been researched and approved for use on people living with or recovering from cancer. Treatments are offered by specially trained therapists, doing away with the need for a doctor’s letter.

New research released today reveals one in 10 Brits over the age of 60 have waited almost half a year for an operation or diagnostic test on the NHS with one in three saying the wait impacted on their mental health. There was also an emotional cost to waiting – for the individual and their family - according to the results.
