Your safety is our number one priority. We understand that you may be worried about visiting us, but we want to reassure you that we’ve put safety measures in place to make our hospitals COVID-19 secure. These changes were guided by the UK government, Public Health England (PHE), and our infection prevention team.

Ensuring we treat who we can, as quickly as we can, safely

We are committed to reducing the time people have to wait to be seen, but acknowledge that it’s taking longer than it was before the COVID-19 pandemic hit.

As it stands, our formal agreement to support the NHS continues but immediate capacity pressures from the pandemic are easing and the agreement now allows us to see patients paying for themselves and those with Private Medical Insurance.

To ensure we help as many people as possible, as quickly as possible, we’re extending hospital opening hours and, where we can, increasing the size of our teams, while ensuring that COVID-19 safety measures are strictly adhered to.
