Our response to the CQC report:
“We welcome the CQC report and are pleased that the Nuffield Health Plymouth hospital has been rated ‘Good’ by the CQC across outpatients and diagnostics services, which were found to be well run and safe… We are however, disappointed with the findings in relation to our surgery and children’s services which we have taken immediate steps to address. The report shows many good and outstanding practices in our surgical services such as our hip and knee and replacement surgeries which were scored 6th and 19th best in the country respectively in the latest PROMs (Patient Reported Outcome Measures).“ (Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital, Hospital Director David Houghton)
