Where are you located?Situated on Colinton Road, near Edinburgh’s popular Polwarth, Morningside and Merchiston areas. The Nuffield Health Edinburgh Hospital is within easy reach of the City Centre and the city bypass, we offer free onsite parking and there is also metered parking nearby.

Which public transport would get me to the hospital?Bus - Lothian Buses (10,27,38 and 45) serve the area well via Edinburgh City Centre and surrounding areas, visit Lothianbuses.com for details.
Train – Waverly and Haymarket train stations are a short taxi ride from the Hospital.
By plane – We are roughly twenty minutes by car from Edinburgh Airport. -
How do I get an appointment to see a consultant?You can book an appointment by calling our team on 0131 447 2340 or completing the enquiry form below. You do not always need a referral to see a consultant, however, it is preferred as it helps our team ensure you are booked with the correct specialist.

How long would it take me to get an appointment?We endeavour to ensure all private patients will be seen within a week and at a time that is convenient for you. Our appointments are designed to be flexible around your needs and activities.

Can I choose which consultant I wish to see?Yes, as a private patient you can choose your consultant.

Do you offer treatment for children?Some of our consultants can treat children in our outpatient’s department, for more information on which specialities this includes, please call our bookings team on 0131 447 2340.

Would my surgery be conducted by a junior doctor?No, our hospital only works with consultants and therefore you can be assured of the highest level of clinical care. Your appointments, surgery and follow ups will be conducted by your consultant.
