Following the CQC inspection of the Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital which took place in December 2015, Hospital Director Fiona Taylor said:
“I welcome the findings of the CQC inspection which rated the Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital ‘Good’ overall across Medical Care, Surgery, Outpatients and Diagnostic Imaging, which were found to be safe, caring and responsive to the needs of patients.
The CQC highlighted that the hospital took into account individual patient needs and preferences when designing the delivery of well-planned services to its’ patient population. There was sufficient staff, ensuring the appropriate provision of timely and compassionate care.
Suggestions made by the CQC for improvements were valued and implemented since the inspection, helping to further improve our patient experience at our hospital.
Patient safety, infection prevention and high quality care are our number one priority and we will continue to focus our efforts to ensure the hospital delivers the highest standards for our patients.
