Online health assessments FAQs
I want to cancel my appointment/reschedule an appointment, how do I do this?
If you need to rearrange or cancel your appointment, please telephone 0345 230 2040. Our team will be pleased to help.
What happens if I don’t complete Trium®?
We strongly encourage that you complete the online health risk analysis, otherwise we won’t be able to provide the same depth of analysis on certain areas of your lifestyle and the impact this will have on disease risk. This will also restrict the modules which you are able to complete within your assessment.
What are the 30-minute physiology coaching modules?
Your health and wellbeing physiologist will review your completed Trium® questionnaire ahead of your health assessment and will help you to decide which module is most clinically relevant for you to complete.
Our modules are as follows (please not that there may be contraindications to certain modules meaning they cannot be completed):
- Posture and movement health
- Cancer risk reduction
- Diabetes prevention
- Energy and sleep health
- Fitness coaching
- Healthy weight loss
- Lifestyle management for healthy hearts
- Stress and resilience management
How is my personal data shared?
Aside from the usual way we collect and process your data, as explained in our privacy policy, Clients conducting a 72-hour heart rate variability (HRV) assessment as part of their Energy and Sleep Health module will have their data shared with our processor, Firstbeat. The minimum amount of data required to deliver the service will be shared and may include:
- name
- email address
- delivery address
- age
- height
- weight
- heart rate data
- activity levels
- sleep duration
- lifestyle habits.
Your physiologist will gain verbal consent during your assessment and answer any question you may have. A copy of the Nuffield Health Firstbeat Lifestyle Assessment Consent Form, where you can find out more about how to withdraw your consent, is available here.
More information on how our partners for delivering the HRV assessment, Firstbeat, process your personal data can be found here.
Can I refuse any part of the assessment?
You have the right to decline any part of the assessment that you are not comfortable with.
I cannot find my Microsoft Teams invitation, what do I do?
All online health assessments and follow up calls are completed via Microsoft Teams, therefore if you cannot find your confirmation email with the link to join your assessment, please call 0345 230 2040 as soon as possible to resolve.
Before your assessment, please ensure you can access Microsoft Teams at least 10 minutes before via you chosen device so you have the full assessment with your clinician.
My company blocks Microsoft Teams, what do I do?
You can access your assessment via a personal laptop, desktop or mobile device if you cannot use your company device. Instructions on how to do this will be in your confirmation email.
Do I need a webcam for my assessment?
Yes, as the assessments are completed via Microsoft Teams via video. This can be completed via your mobile phone, laptop or desktop computer.
Is the assessment secure?
Yes, and we do not record our online health assessments. Our clinicians will be wearing headsets and in a secure environment.
Do I need to fast for my home pathology test kit or phlebotomy clinic?
No, you do not need to fast for your blood tests for these assessments due to the type of tests we will be completing.
How do I complete my home pathology kit?
Please complete and send your home pathology kit as soon as you receive it. If you do not then there is a risk it may not be analysed and results wont be ready in time for you assessment. Instructions are included in the home testing pack with a pre-paid return envelope.
What if my results are abnormal?
If your results are abnormal then a clinician will contact you in advance of your health assessment to discuss and complete the necessary actions. If your results are normal, then they will be discussed in the assessment.
What do I wear for my health assessment?
We recommend wearing sports clothes or loose-fitting clothing, as some modules require physical movement analysis.
How do I book my follow up calls?
Your physiologist will book these for you during your assessment.
When do I get my report?
Reports will be ready 10 days after the health assessment and available via your online portal. Instructions will be sent to you in the email letting you know your report is ready.
If I need to discuss something within my report, what can I do?
Please telephone 0300 123 1406. Our team will be pleased to help or pass your details onto your screening clinicians to advise you.
Can I exercise before my assessment?
We advise not to exercise before the assessment if possible. Exercise may affect the results of the urine analysis, and blood measurements, therefore this should be avoided for 24 hours before the assessment.
