Reach your Personal Best 

Achieve your health and wellbeing goals and improve the way you eat, sleep, and move.

Free to all our gym members, the 3-step Nuffield Health Personal Best Programme includes two completely free body composition tests, dedicated time with a Personal Trainer, and a detailed action plan to help you achieve your goals over 12 weeks.

The best part? It’s tailored to the areas of health and wellbeing that matter most to you. The programme contains 3 in-gym sessions for you to discuss your health concerns and goals with us.

How the programme works

Step 1
(Week 1, 60 minutes)

  • Body composition analysis
  • Cardiovascular health check
  • Cholesterol test and diabetes risk assessment
  • Put together your personal action plan

Step 2
(Week 6, 30 minutes)

  • Check in with your Personal Trainer
  • Discuss progress
  • Reassess your plan
  • Make any necessary adjustments

Step 3
(Week 12, 60 minutes)

  • Repeat Step 1 tests
  • Evaluate your progress
  • Assess your overall health
  • Discuss future plans

What’s included in the health checks

The Personal Best Programme includes a health check at the start and end of your programme. These tests highlight your progress and how your plan has changed your core measurements.

Body composition 

  • Height
  • Weight
  • Body mass index (BMI)
  • Waist circumference

Cardiovascular health 

  • Resting heart rate
  • Blood pressure

Blood tests* 

  • Cholesterol profile includes; total cholesterol (TC), low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, high density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, total cholesterol/HDL cholesterol ratio (TC:HDL ratio) and triglyerides.
  • HbA1c level (Diabetes risk)

* This will involve a finger prick blood test.
