Introducing our specialist spinal nurse at Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital

Being the only private hospital in the region that performs very complex spinal surgery, we’ve invested in this expertise as part of the high-quality care we offer. 

Rachel has impressive clinical experience, working at Leeds General Infirmary for 12 years as a neurosurgical scrub nurse and 2 years as an advanced nurse practitioner on the neurosurgical wards. 

As well as assisting our spinal consultants in theatre, here at Nuffield Leeds, she sees every adult private spinal patient in our wards, ensuring their surgical wounds are healing and she supports their overall post-operative care.

Rachel’s role doesn’t just stop when you are discharged at the hospital. She is also the friendly expertise on the end of the telephone for our private spinal patients once they’ve been discharged.
