Paying for Treatment
If you have now made the decision about going ahead with fertility treatment, we understand that this can be an anxious time, and have therefore made the payment process as simple as possible.
Fee structure - what is included in my treatment?
Our fees include scans, nursing services, counselling services and consultant fee. The cost of your treatment will be discussed with you at the information session before your treatment starts. We will be able to estimate what treatment will cost, however please remember that drug charges are difficult to predict at the onset of treatment. A member of our nursing team will give you a full list of drug pricing during this meeting.
Fees not included in your treatment cost:
- HFEA fee
- Pelvic assessment scan
- Pre-treatment investigations
- Any additional procedures such as embryo freezing, storing or blastocyst transfer
- Any additional anaesthetic for second procedures
- Your first consultation
You have several payment options. We will need details of a credit/debit card before starting your treatment. Be sure and bring the card details form from your information pack with you when you first visit.
Cheque or card - if you prefer you can simply pay direct for your treatment. All major credit cards are accepted.
We also offer BACS transfer - a simple and cost effective way to transfer funds from your bank direct to our unit. Our accounts administrator can provide you with the details you need for this transfer.
Medical loan - in co-operation with First Medical Loans you may be able to arrange an interest free personal medical loan for your treatment (subject to status and terms and conditions).
NHS funding - We are one of the hospitals selected to provide NHS funded IVF treatment to Surrey patients. Your GP or NHS consultant will need to check whether you are eligible and refer you to the NHS for funding.
Medical insurance - If you have medical insurance we may be able to work directly with your insurer. Please note that insurance coverage of fertility treatment is rare. You will need to liaise closely with your insurer to determine their coverage as well as terms and conditions. Visit our Medical Insurance page for more details.
