This event is for anyone who wants to find out more about cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma and retinal diseases.
Mr Sambath Tiroumal, Consultant Ophthalmologist, will discuss the types of treatments that are available as well as giving more information on what to consider if you are thinking about treatment.
You will receive a FREE 15-minute 1:1 appointment with Mr Tiroumal and while this does not replace the need for a full consultation, it is a great way to find out more detail and ask any questions you may have.
This event is being held at Wessex Hospital where we have a complimentary car park and disabled access for visitors.

About Mr Tiroumal Mr Tiroumal has an experience of over 25 years in Ophthalmology. He has been a substantive consultant in the NHS since 2014. His main sub-speciality interests are cataract surgery and Medical Retina diseases. He has performed over 6000 cataract surgeries. He is specialised in managing macular diseases which need intravitreal eye injections such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and retinal vein occlusion with macular oedema.
He has extensive experience in managing general Ophthalmology diseases including dry eyes, glaucoma and correction of lid disorders such as ectropion, entropion and blepharoplasty.
