What is Endoscopy?
An endoscopic procedure is a test that allows the doctor to visually inspect your gastrointestinal tract using a long thin flexible tube with a small camera attached. This is passed into your body through a natural opening such as your mouth or anus.
The Holly Hospital Endoscopy Theatre provides access to day case or outpatient endoscopy procedures using modern techniques and technology but if needed, provision to accommodate patients overnight can also be done.
