**Coronavirus update** To protect the safety of our current patients and staff, except in exceptional circumstances we are currently not accepting visitors. This including visiting relatives or friends who are staying in hospital.  Please do not visit the hospital, unless you have an appointment which requires you to attend.  We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Visiting hours

Your visitors are welcome throughout the day; however we encourage all patients to rest between 13:30 and 14:30 and would therefore suggest that visits are planned around this quiet time.

Your recovery is of paramount importance and you may find that you are very tired following surgery. With this in mind visitors are encouraged to leave by 21:00. Please be mindful of other patients who may be resting whilst you are receiving your visitors. If you do not wish it to be known that you are in the hospital, please inform reception.

All visitors to the ward may be asked to sign in and out of our visitor's book at reception on every occasion and they may be given a security badge to wear while they are on hospital premises.

External CCTV is in operation at the hospital as an additional precaution. If you are aware of or suspect any threat to security please inform a member of staff as soon as possible.

Car parking

Free car parking is available at the hospital for your visitors if you are insured or self-pay, but this can be limited during peak times. Alternatively, being in the heart of the city centre,  there are plenty of alternative car parking facilities in the vicinity and excellent public transport links.

Should you or your visitors require taxi services, the main reception team will be happy to arrange this for you.

Visitor meals

Your visitors are welcome to dine with you and can choose from our daily menu. Orders will be taken by the ward hostess'. Please note that visitors’ meals are chargeable and these will be added to your room account.

Local hotels

Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate your visitors overnight. Should your relatives or friends wish to stay locally, there are a number of hotels which we can recommend.
