Joint Pain Wellbeing Programme
Nuffield Health is launching the Joint Pain Wellbeing Programme to help people with osteoarthritis manage joint pain without surgery.
We're accepting applications to our Summer 2019 programme.
What is the Joint Pain Wellbeing Programme?
Our 12-week joint pain programme aims to help those living with osteoarthritis to live life to the fullest, with expert guidance and a bespoke exercise programme. Each week you'll have two session with a wellbeing expert in our gyms and learn about the role of food, exercise, sleep and mental wellbeing in pain management. You'll have access to guides and an extensive offering of online articles throughout. You'll also receive a free Health MOT before starting the programme and another at the end to show your progress.
This programme is £2 per session and available to non-members.
How do I apply to join the programme?
To register your interest for the Summer intake of our 2019 Joint Pain Wellbeing Programme, you can have your GP practice or physiotherapist submit a referral on your behalf, or you can refer yourself. We'll contact you to let you know if you've been accepted based on clinical criteria.
Find your nearest Programme
Anybody living within 10 miles of the locations running our programme and living with joint pain in their hips or knees for more than six months can apply for the programme. Once you have submitted your form you will be contacted by a programme manager who will discuss the programme and your eligibility.
Why are we launching the programme?
As a trading charity, maintaining, promoting and advancing health is Nuffield Health's purpose.
