Hydrotherapy

Our Hydrotherapy pool is an essential facility for those undergoing rehabilitation after surgery.

At a comfortable 34ºC the water aids relief from pain, swelling and stiffness to enable joint mobilisation during non weight baring exercise.

Hydrotherapy improves circulation, cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength, maintenance and restoration.

Hydrotherapy

  • Monday 1-2pm (general exercise)
  • Wednesday 2-3pm (lower Limb)
  • Friday 12-1pm (general exercise)

Antenatal Hydrotherapy

  • Mondays 6-7pm
  • Thursdays 6-7pm

Pilates

Regular pilates can help improve posture, muscle tone, balance and joint mobility, as well as relieve stress and tension.

Pilates during pregnancy helps Strengthen your stomach and gluteal muscles reduces back pain, strengthens your pelvic floor and helps control breathing.

When you have had your baby, pilates helps rehabilitate your abdominal and pelvic floor muscles correctly, improve posture, assist with weight loss and generally aid your fitness and wellbeing

If you would like to start yoga but are unsure due to a health condition or injury, our classes are designed to for you.

Class sizes are limited to enable the physiotherapy-yoga teacher to provide safe instruction and progression for beginners to those who are more experienced. The class structure involves traditional yoga poses with some functional work and information on the benefits of the pose.
