All you need to know about our health club in Canary Wharf
How do I access the gym?
We're located in the Credit Suisse building at One, Cabot Square. Enter through the revolving doors and head towards the main Credit Suisse reception desk. On your approach veer to the left and the health club is positioned directly behind the main desk.
Are you open to the public?
Our club is open to those that live or work in the Canary Wharf district. Anybody over 18 can join our gym.
Is the gym air-conditioned?
Yes, our gym floor and class studios are fully air-conditioned.
I’ve never done an exercise class before. Will the instructor help me?
Yes, of course. You'll get all the support needed with our experienced and friendly instructors. We recommend arriving 5 minutes early to set up equipment. Before the start of the class, the instructor will ask if there are any newcomers so that he or she can make sure you're comfortable.
How big are your classes?
Most classes take up to 16 people – this means the classes don’t feel overcrowded but still have a motivating atmosphere. Take a look at the wide range of classes we offer and try one out.
Will somebody show me how to use the equipment?
Yes, one of our expert Wellbeing Trainers will give you a full induction of the gym. This includes a personalised exercise programme to help you get the most out of your membership.
What does my gym membership include?
Your Nuffield Health membership includes:
- Access to 100 weekly exercise classes
- Use of our heated 25m swimming pool
- A personalised exercise programme when you start
- Health MOTs – Understand your health with the help of our expert team
- Access to our ‘Meet our Expert’ events
Do you provide towels?
Yes, complimentary towels are available every time you visit.
Do I need to pay for a locker?
No, we have digital lockers. A member of the team can show you how to use them when you join.
What changing facilities do you have?
We have spacious male and female changing rooms with large lockers, private showers with complimentary products, and hairdryers.
How busy does the gym get?
Our busiest times are over lunch, between 12:30 and 14:00
Do I need to book classes in advance?
You can book classes online up to 3 days in advance.
Do you have a sauna or steam room?
Yes, we have a sauna and a steam room in each changing room to relax in after your workout.
What should I bring?
You’ll need your membership card to enter the club. We recommend wearing light and comfortable clothing. Please bring a bottle of water. You can fill up at one of our water fountains in the gym.
Can I use other Nuffield Health gyms?
Your membership at the Canary Wharf Health Club is solely for our facility although our members have the option to top-up their membership to access a wider network of 112 sites.
Can I freeze my membership?
We do offer freezes. However only if you’re ill, injured, and pregnant or made redundant, you can freeze your membership at any time with a clear calendar months’ notice. Further terms and conditions regarding freezing or cancelling your membership can be seen in club and we also give a copy of the terms and conditions in your welcome pack.
