My name is Ethan Lock and I am one of the personal trainers here at Nuffield Health Aylesbury Fitness and Wellbeing Gym. I got into the fitness industry in a very bizarre way! Before I decided to study for my personal training qualification I was a zoo keeper. I know, crazy right! During my time as a zookeeper, I found myself very unhappy in my own body as I was quite overweight. I researched everything I could about fitness and I decided to join the gym and I had one goal in mind which was to lose 2 stone in a year. Long story short, I lost a total of 4 stone that year all on my own! From that day forward I decided I wanted to get into the fitness industry and help others through their struggles as I knew how it felt to be in their position. Since then I have acquired my personal training qualification and joined the Nuffield Health team and have never looked back!
