About
Harry Bulstrode is an Honorary Consultant Neurosurgeon at Cambridge University Hospitals where he performs over 100 spinal operations per year, primarily via the latest minimally-invasive approaches. He also has a specialist interest in stereotactic surgery for movement disorders including Deep Brain Stimulation for Parkinson’s Disease and Thalamotomy for Essential Tremor.
Dr. Bulstrode is Principal Investigator at the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute, where his laboratory studies stem cell biology in cancer and for treatment of movement disorders. www.stemcells.cam.ac.uk/people/pi/bulstrode
He studied medicine in Cambridge then Oxford, achieving First Class Honours. He trained in Neurosurgery in Southampton and Cambridge, then as fellow in London at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
