Hello, my name is Ethan. I am new here to Nuffield Health. I studied for 3 years at Yeovil College doing Level 2 Fitness Instructing, Level 3 Personal Training and Level 4 Strength and Conditioning. I enjoy guiding people to reach and smash their goals and to help them become the best they can be. 

I have always enjoyed playing a variety of sports but I happened to play rugby for a few years starting from secondary school up until college. Playing these sports has encouraged me to train for the specific sport which made me notice all the benefits and improvements it makes on performances. I know how good training can make you feel, which has made me more passionate to motivate others and to improve your performance too.

How can I help you improve your health?

I have been playing many sports for my whole life such as rugby, football and more. But when I hit 14/15 years old I had to proceed in only one sport because it was getting too much and I was picking soreness and injuries frequently, so I went forward with rugby. Playing at Sherborne for a few years and playing in the 1XV playing one away from south west premier and picking trials here and there.

But I noticed the older I became the more difficult it became physically and mentally so that is when I started strength/power and general gym/fitness work towards my sport. This has progressed me to the next level and getting my name out there in the rugby scene!!

Adding Olympic lifting really pushes in all sports. 

I am here to use my knowledge to push you guys to the place you want to be both physically and mentally!

My main passion within Health and Fitness is Powerlifting. 
Dedicating my training to bettering myself to a competitive level within the sport, I have picked up many different ways to improve performance.
Having an avid interest in sport means that any sport-based goals you may have, I can pull on my experience both inside and outside of the gym to up your game. 
My aim is to develop the person in front of me into the best version of themselves, equipping them with the tools they need to implement change.

How can I help you improve your health?

My name is Rob and I'm a personal trainer and Strength & Conditioning coach here at Nuffield Health, and it is my goal to see you reach all of your health and fitness goals.

I specialise in sports-specific programming for people such as rugby players, footballers and even some combat-sport athletes. I also thoroughly enjoy instructing group classes and as well training sessions based around improving general health and fitness goals. Whether you need to tone up, add muscle size or increase flexibility/mobility, I'm here to help!

With over 10 years of experience in the industry, I have developed a passion for weightlifting as well as competing in CrossFit, both of which are highly inclusive for females. I therefore take pride in helping my female clients build confidence, ability and movement quality in lifting weights, empowering them to be their strongest selves.

How can I help you improve your health?

As a personal trainer, I enjoy coaching a variety of clients whether their goals are sports-specific, injury rehab or general fitness goals I am happy to help with all aspects of fitness. I enjoy a wide variety of training such as Olympic lifting, plyometrics, sports-specific sessions and many more. I have taken part in as many sports as possible such as cross country, track and field, football, rugby, Muay Thai, jiu-jitsu and many more combat sports.

My main goal for any client I have the opportunity to work with is to help you achieve your goals while making sure you enjoy your sessions. In my time at Nuffield I have worked with clients with all different goals, for example, one client of mine had a cycling holiday he wanted to prep for, over the course of our month together he feels his cardio has improved as well as his confidence for this cycle.

How can I help you improve your health?

My name is Chris and I've been a Personal Trainer at Nuffield since 2019. I started training in my early 20s to try and combat my issues with social anxiety. This began with training at home, then eventually I joined a gym and as my mentality improved, I decided I wanted others to experience the same changes that I had. That's when I decided to become a Personal Trainer.

I'm a huge advocate of Bodyweight training and the importance of core strength. I love Calisthenics, Gymnastic strength training and the fun/challenging aspect that they both bring to training. As a Personal Trainer my goal is to show people that they are always capable of doing more than they believe they ever could.
