How can I help you improve your health?

I became involved in fitness after my running and cycling habits developed into triathlon and I learned how a solid base of strength and athletic movement skills supported my training and performance. I left a career in online marketing and became a Personal Trainer in 2015 and began my triathlon coaching journey at the same time.

Now I love coaching others and working on my own biomechanics through strength and conditioning and in my own training. I know that a good base of strength and general athleticism is key to training and competing injury-free and maintaining good form when the going gets tough.

I am a mum to a primary-school-aged daughter so understand the challenges of trying to fit exercise around the many other demands on parents’ time. I’m also a specialist in pre- and post-natal exercise and have an interest in female hormones.

How can I help you improve your health?

I have been working in the fitness industry since 2016 and during this time I have come across many different people from all walks of life and all fitness abilities so I can use what I have learnt along the way to benefit you.

I like to take a holistic approach to fitness, my clients mental wellbeing is just as important to me as their physical health. Good nutrition, prioritising rest and recovery when you need it, and work outs that fit in with your daily routine will all be part of your training to not only get you the results you desire but also make sure it's sustainable.

My passion is strength training because I love watching my clients grow in confidence as they get stronger in the gym, which then filters through into their everyday lives, but I understand not everyone wishes to train this way and will seek to find a style that is both challenging and enjoyable for you.

As a working mother of two I understand that family pressures and time constraints can sometimes prevent us from getting to where we want to be but I will work around your schedule to ensure you stay consistent.

How can I help you improve your health?

I believe that exercise should be accessible to everyone, and everyone deserves a safe, positive environment to explore what type of exercise works for them.

My background is in yoga, massage and holistic therapies, and I moved into fitness to be the change I wanted to see. I believe that the fitness industry needs to be more diverse and welcoming, it needs to show that all shapes and sizes can be fit and healthy, and celebrated in fitness spaces.

I understand starting any exercise can be scary, especially if you feel too big /unhealthy/uncomfortable/out of your depth, and trying to figure it out can be overwhelming.

This is why I’m passionate about working with clients, especially beginners, to remove some of that fear and to help support you get to your goals. I'll be here cheering you on as you smash your fitness goals.

Physical exercise has been a passion of mine from an early age, through my own experiences and from training others I have learned the correct methods to achieve various goals.

Personal training comes as second nature to me simply because i treat your goals and aims as if they were mine!

I'm also a Rehabilitation Specialist for our Joint Pain Programme, where my aim is to manage, care and improve joint pain within a holistic framework.

Health, fitness & wellbeing has been a massive part of my life for over 15 years.

I train myself 6 days a week with my bespoke training plan for my personal goals and I dedicate myself to achieving the best I can every time I enter the gym.

My focus when I'm personal training my clients is not only on physical changes but also positive mental changes to reach the goals they have set themselves both inside and outside of the gym, I believe a healthy body and a positive mental outlook are not achievable without one another.

I've been working in the fitness industry for over 16 years and my passion to help people achieve their goals grows with every passing day.

I believe the most important aspect of exercise should be enjoyment, from experience I've found that this is to key to achieving long term results whilst making exercise a part of your life. I pride myself on being able to pass my knowledge of many areas of health and fitness onto anyone that would like to learn, think of it as becoming your very own version of a personal trainer!
