Learn to swim in Letchworth Garden City with experienced Swim England instructors

Our popular 'Swim England Learn to Swim' programme at Nuffield Health in Letchworth Garden City follows Swim England standards.

Whether you're an adult wanting to improve your stroke technique, or you want your child to develop water confidence, our swim school can help.

Lessons are available to both our gym members and non-members.

Adult swimming lessons

• At Nuffield Health we believe you are never too old to learn to swim
• Whether you're a complete beginner or want to improve your stroke, we offer crash courses to meet your needs
• Your instructor will aim to tailor lessons to the groups ability and goals, teaching front crawl, back stroke, breast stroke or butterfly
• Lesson times: Tuesday and Friday 6.00pm Beginners, Thursday 6.00pm Improvers

• Lessons are booked in blocks of 12 and are the same cost as children's groups

• We cannot pre-book or add to a waitlist for these courses and must be paid for at time of booking

• Our heated indoor swimming pool is 20m

Children's swimming lessons




We offer a variety of lesson options for kids, whatever their age or ability.

• Group lesson times: Monday - Friday after school, Saturday: 12:00 p.m -16:00 p.m.

• 30-minute classes

• Maximum of 6 children per class, 4 in Ducklings

• Grouped by ability, not age

• Available to children aged 4 months+

• Swimming Stage badges/certificates included in fees

• Distance badge and certificate - £3

• 50 week school - Lessons will only stop for Christmas break

Please note: during Children's Swimming Lessons and Family Swim
Time, only one general lane will be open for lane swimmers.


Prices:

• Non-member Group Lesson: £168 for 12

• Member Group Lesson: £114 for 12
