How can I help you improve your health?

I see each person as an individual who has their own habits, lifestyles, and goals that they are working towards achieving. We are not machines and we all have good days and bad. When it comes to fitness, health and wellbeing, most of the influencers come from outside the gym, and that is why I take a holistic approach. This will involve looking at each part of your life and the impacts this is having on your current and future fitness, health and wellbeing. So we will examine your diet, what and how and when and how much you eat, your work-life balance, particularly stress triggers in relation to training, general health and wellbeing.

In doing so we will be working together to identify your goals and motivators, as well as the possible barriers that you may need to overcome to reach them. That could be feeling intimidated in the gym, you may feel uncomfortable with your body image, you may have a demanding stressful job or need family time, but still want to push on to the next level.

To put it simply, I will support and coach you through the difficult times and celebrate your progress, each step forward is still progress.

Hi, my name is Dale. If you have any questions about exercise &/or your personal training, feel free to come & speak to me.

I’ve been training myself in the gym for over 3 years now, with a sport and exercise background extending far beyond that. Nobody likes to have their time (or money) wasted, especially when it involves hard work & dedication like health and fitness. I’ve experienced this myself over the years and, with what I’ve built up, I would like to prevent the same from happening to you. I’m always learning, always pushing myself and always testing my own knowledge to ensure I can deliver It to others effectively.

Training is specific, training is scientific. It’s my job to know the facts and your job to put them to the test. I understand that the gym can be an intimidating place. I understand that there is no such thing as a “one size fits all” approach. I understand that some of us struggle to lose weight whilst some of us struggle to put it on. I’ve had the pleasure of training (and training with) many different people of varying shapes and sizes over the years. Exercise and science has always been a passion of mine and I hope that you’ll allow me the chance to pass some of this knowledge onto you.

I have been involved in the fitness industry for over 30 years and during this time I have developed a great knowledge and understanding of what it takes to provide the best support for all my clients. My main background is martial arts and boxing.

I am relatively new to my career, which means I have a lot of enthusiasm and passion to give. I want to provide the best possible support to all my clients, with individual plans and goals, as each person is on their own journey. I aim to have open conversations with all clients about their needs, to enable them to reach their goals in a safe and controlled way.

I am energetic, having competed in flyball for six years with my border collie, attending national competitions and championships across the country. However, my main passion is running, and I have completed the great north run for the last three years. I took up the sport after having my children, but once they grew up, I decided to take it further and pursue my career in fitness.

My ambition is to share my passion for fitness with others through providing the correct coaching to achieve the desired goal. I provide tailored training to suit your individuals needs, whether that be weight loss, muscle growth, sport specific training, increased mobility etc.

Through looking into factors such as diet and lifestyle, together we can come up with a plan that will keep you motivated both inside and outside of the gym. I have the knowledge and qualifications to work with any level from beginner to elite.

I believe that fitness is accessible to everyone, and that training can be altered to suit any individual. My approach to training incorporates both cardiovascular and weight training, and finding a good mix of both so that any client of mine receives an enjoyable but challenging session.

My ideal client is someone who wants to feel stronger and look better, and through one on one personal training sessions with me, I can guarantee that you will get the results you want. Sessions are centred around your goal, and are timed to fit in with your schedule. Along with training, I can also advise you on your nutrition to help you meet your goals.
