About

Mr Gans Thiagamoorthy is a Consultant Gynaecologist and subspecialist Urogynaecologist, specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic floor conditions, bladder problems and women’s health concerns. He is the only Royal College subspecialty-certified urogynaecologist working across Ashford, St Peter’s and Royal Surrey hospitals.

Mr Thiagamoorthy sees women with a wide range of conditions, including urinary incontinence, recurrent urinary infections, bladder pain and pelvic floor problems, as well as pregnancy-related pelvic health concerns. He understands how these conditions can impact day-to-day life and aims to provide clear, supportive care tailored to each individual.

He offers a full range of treatments, always starting with non-surgical options where possible. These may include lifestyle advice, pelvic floor therapies and medical treatments. Where appropriate, he also provides minimally invasive procedures and surgical options, carefully explaining the benefits and risks so patients can make informed decisions about their care.

Mr Thiagamoorthy has a holistic approach to women’s health and focuses on delivering personalised, compassionate care. He aims to make treatments as straightforward and minimally invasive as possible, with many procedures offered in an outpatient setting, as well as more complex treatments when required.

He trained at St George’s Hospital Medical School and completed subspecialty training in urogynaecology at King’s College London. With extensive experience in this field, he combines specialist expertise with a detailed understanding of pelvic floor conditions and their management.

Mr Thiagamoorthy is committed to ensuring patients feel fully informed and supported throughout their care. He works closely with patients to understand their symptoms, explain treatment options clearly, and help them choose the approach that best suits their needs and lifestyle.
