Our values are who we are. They’re not just something we talk about. They’re something we believe in. They’re the inspiration and the power behind the way we think, the way we behave, and the way we care.

This is how we care. It’s what we stand for. And how we work to put our patients, customers and colleagues at the heart of everything we do.

Creating an inclusive culture

As the UK’s largest healthcare charity, we have a responsibility to reflect the nation and the local communities we support across the UK.

An inclusive culture needs to be embraced whole-heartedly in every part of who we are and what we do. We are committed to creating an environment that, regardless of ethnicity, gender, disability or lifestyle, welcomes all people and embraces their differences.

This can be an easy thing to say and a difficult thing to do, but it’s not a challenge we’re going to shy away from.

We need to speak with our actions, and that’s why we’ve signed up to the Social Mobility Pledge, a UK cross political party campaign to improve social mobility, as a public commitment to drive inclusivity and social mobility throughout our Charity and beyond.
