When you book an appointment with us, you may have booked it with one of our Consultant’s medical secretaries who manage the Consultant’s diary. Medical secretaries are not always based within our Guildford Hospital, but they will have told you about how to get to the Hospital and some of the things to be aware of that we have to ask you when you arrive.

Getting here

When you arrive at our hospital, if you are driving you are welcome to park in our free car park. The car park can get a little congested during the day so we suggest arriving early for your appointment– we will always accommodate you if you suffer delays parking.

Signing in

Our Hospital reception team will be pleased to welcome you and help you get booked in for your appointment or surgery.

If you are a new patient we will require a credit/payment card imprint; this is to reduce inconvenience to you in the future for any additional test or treatment costs. We will always require your authorisation for any transactions.

If you’re a new patient we will ask you to sign agreement to our terms and conditions. As a hospital we have very high clinical standards, and it is important you are aware of our policies around maintaining these. We do ask that you read these carefully before signing.

Patient appointments

When you come for your patient appointment you will be looked after by one of our nursing team, under the management of Lesley Seymour, Outpatient Manager. They will ensure that your visit and any minor procedure, dressing or test you need to have  is taken care of quickly and safely. Feel free to ask questions as they are all highly experienced clinical staff. Alternatively you may wish to discuss your appointment with our Outpatient Administration team.
