About
Mr Priy Silva is an experienced Consultant ENT / Head and Neck surgeon. He has been a doctor for over 20 years. He has an NHS practise based at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He practises privately out of the Nuffield Manor Hospital and Genesis care in Oxford.
In addition to his general adult and paediatric ENT practice, he also holds subspecialty interests in cancers of the head and neck, as well as the anterior and lateral skull base. He undertakes the full range of cancer procedures involving the head and neck. He routinely working with the neurosurgical and plastic surgical teams for complex head and neck operations. Research
Priy undertook a two year piece of formative research in head and neck cancer at the Christie Cancer Hospital leading to the award of a doctorate (MD) from the University of Manchester in 2007.
He has published in excess of 25 articles, co-authored three book chapters and presented his work at both national and international meetings.
Priy has an active interest in surgical teaching, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
