Following this she worked in various UK hospitals including Newham General Hospital, Harold Wood Hospital, Homerton University Hospital, and Whipps Cross University Hospital. Currently she is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, Essex, Mid Essex NHS Trust. She has wide experience in the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the UK and Mumbai, India. She has expertise in fetal medicine, gynaecological ultrasound, laparoscopic surgeries and menopause/hormone replacement therapy.
Mrs Thakur is a RCOG (Royal College of obstetrician & gynaecologist) College Tutor and GP trainer. She takes pride in teaching and guiding her junior trainees.
