Meet Dan Towey, he is
our Senior Personal Trainer at Manchester
Printworks. What does his Senior status mean? In simple terms, he is at the top of his
game in terms of qualifications and has over 15 years experience at this club
alone as our longest serving Personal Trainer. Along with his knowledge gained
from a First Class Degree in Sport Science, you can expect to receive exceptional training programmes
and 1-2-1 coaching sessions to bring about optimal results for you. Dan likes
to regularly track and log training sessions and perform routine fitness tests
to ensure you are moving towards your goals.
He welcomes all, from beginners to regular
exercisers, and uses his friendly and dedicated approach to motivate, inspire,
and support you through fun, challenging and progressive training sessions.
He has built a sound professional reputation
within the club and for getting clients the results they want, and is popular
amongst those members whose goals are to reduce body fat and increase muscle
tone & size, thus changing their body composition and body shape .
He can offer nutritional advice to help complement your training.
Dan uses a variety of training methods including
advanced strength and aerobic training, core and flexibility, circuit training,
boxing, ViPR, kettlebells etc. And can also cater for special
populations, such as Pre and post natal exercise , and postural corrective
exercise .
Dan is very active himself and plays football at
a competitive level, and enjoys running, strength training, biking , boxing and
snowboarding. He also coaches football at youth level.
