About
Dr
Ingram has extensive experience in cardiac imaging, having performed his PhD in
the field and also completed a sub-specialty training fellowship in
echocardiography at the University Hospital of Wales. He is accredited in all
forms of echocardiography, Cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI. He works as a Consultant
Cardiologist in the Heart and Lung Centre, New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton.
Personal interests
Tom enjoys gardening, photography and spending time with his four children (especially when he can take pictures of them in the garden)!

Research
Dr Ingram’s post-graduate research explored the bridge between cardiac imaging and vascular biology and the results have been published in high quality specialist and general cardiology journals. He has also contributed to national guidelines produced by the British Society of Echocardiography and written textbook chapters on the role of cardiac imaging in critical care patients.
